How it works

FROM CHALLENGE TO PAYOUT.

Every challenge on VAULT follows the same rules so both sides know exactly what they are agreeing to before a single dollar moves.

Step by step

THE FULL LOOP

  1. 01

    Brief and prize

    The sponsor writes the brief, sets the rules and the deadline, and chooses the prize amount.

  2. 02

    Funds go to escrow

    The challenge pool is charged up front and held. A challenge cannot go live on unfunded money.

  3. 03

    Entries open

    Creators submit original photos or videos up to 30 seconds. Entry is free, and each creator can enter the same active challenge up to 3 times before it expires.

  4. 04

    Community voting

    Upvotes rank the entries. The top-voted entries become finalists.

  5. 05

    Winner selection

    Either the sponsor picks from the finalists, or the highest upvote count wins automatically — set at creation.

  6. 06

    Payout

    Escrow releases the prize to the winner's verified bank account, minus the platform commission.

WHAT KEEPS IT FAIR

Original work only

Entries must be shot by the creator. No stock imagery, no reposts.

Winner rule is fixed

Sponsor-picks or upvote-decides is chosen before entries open and cannot be changed mid-challenge.

Up to 3 entries per challenge

You can submit to the same active challenge up to 3 times before it expires. On a 4th attempt, the app tells you you've already submitted 3 entries and points you to a different challenge.

Anti-manipulation

Suspected vote manipulation, fraud or policy breaches can pause a payout or remove a challenge.
